Liked that the hotel was old renovated and beautiful old, Victorian decor in the rooms. The breakfast was delicious with yogurts, good coffee and also fresh fruit, and the staff were genuinely helpful.

Comfortable and stunningly beautiful hotel, attentive staff, enjoyed excellent location very close to the beautiful garden and breakfast and all the highlights and the western Cape. They gave us a suite in a delightful garden. It was spotless and had central heating, a personal safe, and a microwave oven. The breakfasts were savoury and the service was superb! There also was safe parking and nice pool.

We got well-appointed and unique a double room with excellent bed as an upgrade, nice gesture. Beautiful decor, a safe box, a fridge, and tea and coffee making equipment.

We had the most incredible stay at this charming guesthouse. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Stephan, who treated us like lifelong friends. He even prepared a delicious meal for us after our long flight. Our suite was absolutely fantastic, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable night's stay. The bed was hands down the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. The breakfast spread was outstanding, with fresh fruit pots and a cooked meal that left us satisfied. The guesthouse is surrounded by beautifully manicured gardens and a lovely pool area. It truly felt like a serene oasis. Stephan also gave us great recommendations, such as visiting the local museum and bookshop. We fell in love with Darling, a beautiful little town, and regretted only staying for one night. I highly recommend this guesthouse for its exceptional hospitality and cozy atmosphere.

Enjoyed a great New Year at a B&B south of Cape Town. Loved the beautiful garden with a pool, swing seat, and a pond. The vintage charm of the main building made for a relaxing atmosphere and a great place to stay. The breakfast was fantastic, offering fresh fruit pots, a cooked meal, and great coffee.

As a downside, the rooms lacked air conditioning, which may be uncomfortable for some during the hottest months. the emergency renovations caused us to stay in the Garden Cottages, which lacked the same charm as the main building.
